What do I need to send?

So, you want to send in a review? Excellent! Here is a list of things that I need to post your review.. thought up by my muse, the one and only Professor Snape!

1) Name.

Okay, I'd at least like to know who you are. It doesn't have to be your name on your birth certificate. For example, I could write a review and send it under the name "Violet". It's not my real name, but I do use it on the internet, so that would be okay.

And please don't use a character name. There are enough Potters around without people making more of them.

Yes, does the world really need a lot of "Hermione Potter"s and other such stuff? No.

2) Age.

Here's the deal: Ages will not be posted on the website. What will be posted is a range - 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, etc... Why am I doing this? I don't just want to hear the 11 year olds views on the movies. Different age ranges may have very different feelings about the movie. This also allows me to bring up the fact that people under the age of 13 need to get parent or guardian approval for sending a review to be posted. This isn't my choice, this is the law.

3) Gender.

This is pretty self-explainatory. Again, men may have different reactions to the movie then women.

4) Have you read the books?

Very important section. Can the movie stand alone as a good story if the books haven't been read? It's an important concept. People who have read the books have a great knowledge of the HP universe already, whereas people who haven't read the books don't.

5) Website.

Do you have one? Just out of curiosity.

6) Rating.

This one is out of 4 stars. 0 stars = pathetic ... 1 star = poor ... 2 stars = fair ... 3 stars = good ... 4 stars = excellent Inbetween stars can be given (Ex. 3 1/2 stars = very good, etc.)

7) The Review.

Finally! The good part! What did you think about the movie? And, please, don't give me any answers like "It was good. I liked it." In particular, I'd like to hear about these topics....

***Plot. Did it keep the plot of the book? Did the plot make sense? Did they cut your favorite scene?
***Characters. How were they portrayed? Did they ruin your image of a character? How did you feel about Harry, Ron, and Hermione? What about Hagrid? The teachers? The Dursleys?
***Scenery. Did Hogwarts live up to your mental image? Did you like the new sections we saw? (ex. greenhouses, Dumbledore's office)
***Music. Did it fit the story? If the music is good, it will either stand out as wonderful work, or it will blend in perfectly and you'll hardly know it's there. If you don't like the music, it will stick out like a sore thumb.
***Special effects. The big question... Did you like Quidditch? The Dueling Club?  How about the basilisk, or spiders, or the Whomping Willow?  Or Dobby?

If you have anything else you'd like to say, put it in!!

Okay, now that you've read the fine print, send us a grand review at !
