Harry Potter for Muggles - Hogwarts
Houses

Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin

Gryffindor - Named after Godric Gryffindor. Gryffindor students are singled out by their daring & chivalry. Many famous people have been in Gryffindor, from Albus Dumbledore to Harry Potter. The common room is on the seventh floor, guarded by the Fat Lady, a very large painting. The head of Gryffindor House is Professor Minerva McGonagall and the Gryffindor ghost is Nearly Headless Nick.

Hufflepuff - Named after Helga Hufflepuff. Hufflepuff students are singled out by being loyal & hardworking. the head of Hufflepuff House is Professor Sprout, and the Hufflepuff ghost is the Fat Friar.

Slytherin - Named after Salazar Slytherin. Slytherin students are singled out by their ambition & cunning. Hagrid once said "There's not a single witch or wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin". Voldemort was in Slytherin while at Hogwarts. The common room is in the dungeons behind a stone wall. The head of Slytherin House is Professor Severus Snape, and the Slytherin ghost is the Bloody Baron.

Ravenclaw - Named after Rowena Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw students are singled out by wit & learning. The head of Ravenclaw House is Professor Flitwick, and the ghost of Ravenclaw is the Grey Lady.
